Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-stop delivery routes within Austin metro area
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance documentation
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment while ensuring cargo security and integrity
- Adapt routes in real-time using GPS technology to optimize delivery efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and issue resolution
- Collaborate with dispatch team for timely communication and route adjustments
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with minimum 1 year verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Knowledge of Austin area streets and traffic patterns
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate loading equipment
