Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation using electronic logging devices
- Deliver freight on schedule while adhering to delivery appointment windows
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Operate modern, well-maintained equipment with advanced safety features
- Represent Swift Transportation professionally at all customer facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong safety record and commitment to compliance
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight regional travel with consistent home time
