Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and transport packages to customers within assigned Los Angeles routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet daily targets
- Provide exceptional customer service during package deliveries and address inquiries
- Adhere strictly to Amazon's safety protocols and traffic regulations
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at Amazon fulfillment centers
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery scanning apps
- Pass background check and drug screening per Amazon requirements
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
