Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with precision using provided equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Represent MetroFreight with professionalism in client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of LA metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
