Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently during designated night shifts.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper weight distribution and security.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Interact professionally with customers and stakeholders during pickups and drop-offs.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent DUI or reckless driving history.
- Previous experience in commercial driving or logistics is highly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
