Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between distribution centers and client locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload shipments using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times
- Communicate delivery status and schedule changes to dispatch team
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain digital records
- Assist with inventory management at warehouse facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends/holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with local Fort Wayne road networks preferred
