Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26 ft) for regional deliveries within Fort Worth and surrounding areas
- Maintain meticulous vehicle records including pre/post-trip inspections, maintenance logs, and mileage tracking
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time performance and fuel efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatch teams and clients regarding shipment status and any potential delays
- Handle loading/unloading operations with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Submit accurate documentation including delivery receipts, invoices, and expense reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck or straight truck experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks/dollies
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability coverage)
- Smartphone with reliable internet connectivity for dispatch apps
- Pass background check and drug screening (required for direct hire)
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service compliance
