Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for regional deliveries and logistics
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication
- Operate in diverse weather conditions and traffic scenarios
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and on-time deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville metro area and Florida routes
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts as needed
