Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks for long-haul deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes and maintain delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Safely load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with safety protocols
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of long-haul trucking experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
