Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods across Sacramento metro area
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload shipments with proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Report maintenance issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento roadways and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic computer skills for delivery documentation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
