Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) for regional routes
- Deliver freight on schedule while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of diverse cargo types
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC/Ohio roadways
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
