Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and documents to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Obey traffic laws and practice safe defensive driving at all times.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers to answer questions and resolve issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.
- Utilize mobile technology to track deliveries and manage paperwork efficiently.
- Adhere to all company policies and local regulations regarding delivery operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs occasionally.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Must reside within or be willing to commute to the New York metro area.
