Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across Michigan and regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain through our paid training program
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation and inventory management
- Flexibility for irregular hours and overnight travel (when required)
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety excellence
- High school diploma or equivalent required
