Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight within designated Seattle metropolitan routes
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure safe handling of specialized cargo with temperature controls and securement protocols
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route planning and real-time delivery updates
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and issue resolution
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety policies
- Complete digital paperwork and delivery documentation with precision
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with Seattle traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently in night shift environment (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening
