Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate dispatch updates and delivery status via electronic logging
- Complete required paperwork (BOLs, delivery confirmations) accurately
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with Hours of Service rules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of PA/NY roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
