Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo is secure.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Uphold company standards for customer service and professional appearance while on duty.
Qualifications
- CDL Class A License required (valid in the United States).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and cargo handling procedures.
