Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for freight transportation
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using proper techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Plan routes to ensure timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL permit (or willingness to obtain)
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Good communication skills
