Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks and tractor-trailers on regional and long-haul routes.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Verify delivery receipts and maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driverâs License (Class A) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to travel to Virginia and other regional locations.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
