Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Accurately maintain electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure optimal performance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate efficiently with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Uphold company standards for cargo security and handling
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Georgia road networks and regulations
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside assistance
- Flexibility for early morning start times
- Valid TWIC card or willingness to obtain
