Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently over designated routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring weight distribution is balanced.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and law enforcement regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) required.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or DUIs.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, highway safety, and navigation.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
