Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across Ohio and neighboring states
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Provide excellent customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A or B) or willingness to obtain through our training program
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
