Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for regional routes within Texas and neighboring states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance requirementsEnsure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS navigation and real-time tracking systems
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic documentation (ELD)
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Represent the company professionally with all stakeholders
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat regulations (H endorsement preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Southwest regional geography
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
