Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring cargo is secured and protected.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks, delivery receipts, and vehicle inspection reports (DOT compliant).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of yourself and the public.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (depending on role).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Previous experience in the transportation and logistics industry is preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to undergo a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
