Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to deliver goods on time
- Plan and optimize delivery routes using GPS technology
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Support warehouse operations during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Knowledge of San Jose Bay Area geography
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- DOT medical certification current
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Basic computer literacy for route planning systems
