Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and food orders on strict timelines
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and GPS tracking systems
- Verify recipient identity and confirm delivery completion via digital signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes to minimize fuel consumption and maximize efficiency
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ packages repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking software
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and tip reconciliation
- Pass mandatory background check and drug screening
