Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on assigned regional and long-haul routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper securing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks and documentation.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT drug screen on file.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety protocols, and cargo handling.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record review.
