Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for regional freight delivery (50-75 miles radius)
- Maintain DOT compliance and daily vehicle inspection reports
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading
- Manage inventory tracking and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time schedule adjustments
- Ensure on-time delivery performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable box truck (2005+ model, 22-26ft)
- Smartphone with GPS capability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
