As a School Bus Driver, you will ensure the safe transportation of students to and from school. Your role is vital in maintaining safety standards and providing excellent customer service to families.
Responsibilities
- Operate school buses safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during boarding, riding, and disembarking.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with school staff and parents regarding schedules and delays.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations strictly.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
- Clear driving record (no major violations within the last 3-5 years).
- Pass a comprehensive background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work early morning and/or afternoon hours.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
