Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport across Virginia Beach job sites
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage load distribution and unloading procedures with precision
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with site supervisors for timely material deliveries
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Operate GPS navigation systems for efficient routing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 3 years dump truck experience
- Clean driving record and no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Knowledge of Virginia Beach area routes and construction sites
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Commercial vehicle insurance coverage
