Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students on designated routes following strict schedules
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Enforce student safety protocols and manage bus behavior professionally
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatchers
- Adhere to all traffic laws and district safety regulations
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident reporting records
Qualifications
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Ability to obtain Class B CDL with School Bus endorsement (training provided)
- Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Strong communication skills and patience when working with children
- Availability for early morning (6 AM-9 AM) and afternoon (2 PM-5 PM) shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent required
