Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely to transport construction materials, debris, and bulk goods across job sites
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and routine equipment maintenance checks
- Load/unload materials efficiently using hydraulic controls and proper safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all transport activities
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members for seamless operations
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate timely equipment servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial dump truck operation experience
- Ability to operate heavy machinery in various weather and terrain conditions
- Strong knowledge of Tampa Bay area routes and construction sites
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Excellent communication skills and attention to safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
