Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in the Sacramento area.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring all items are handled with care and accounted for.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers during the delivery process.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Complete daily logs and paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (or equivalent) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems.
