Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to designated sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all transportation activities
- Coordinate with site supervisors and team members for efficient load/unock operations
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Navigate Los Angeles traffic and construction zones efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with heavy vehicles
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with dump truck operations and safety procedures
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles area routes and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Must pass background check and have reliable transportation
