Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage route optimization and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate trip logs and vehicle documentation
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance
- Communicate with dispatch and clients in real-time
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) in good condition
- Smartphone with GPS and data capabilities
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
