Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Plan optimal routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Perform minor roadside repairs when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Raleigh area roads and construction sites
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs occasionally
