Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain student discipline and safety protocols
- Follow strict schedules and traffic regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Complete incident reports and maintenance documentation
- Adhere to district policies and state transportation laws
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- School Bus Certificate and Passenger Endorsement
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clear background check and fingerprinting
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings and afternoons)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
