Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated routes across Texas and surrounding states
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining 100% on-time performance metrics
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document all vehicle maintenance
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Utilize electronic logging systems (ELD) and GPS tracking for route optimization
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and service excellence
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety compliance
- Proficiency with ELD systems and basic navigation technology
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips (1-2 nights per week)
