Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers on long-haul routes across the continental US
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and documentation
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules and minimize downtime
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) or willingness to obtain one through our paid training
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and communication skills
- Willingness to travel overnight and work flexible schedules
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
