Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight and goods using company-owned vehicles while adhering to all DOT regulations
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for inventory tracking
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Load/unload freight with appropriate equipment while following safety protocols
- Adapt to changing schedules and delivery demands within your flexible hours
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with freight/box truck background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Miami-Dade County roadways and traffic patterns
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends based on delivery needs
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by DOT
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
