Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to job sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for all transportation activities
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations at all times
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Manage route planning to optimize delivery schedules and fuel efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Nashville-area roadways and construction zones
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Physical ability to climb, lift, and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
