Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain a positive and secure environment for all passengers
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and school district policies
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatchers
- Complete daily logs and incident reports accurately
- Assist students with boarding and exiting procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or willingness to obtain
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work early morning and afternoon hours
- Patience and strong commitment to student safety
- Basic mechanical knowledge (training provided)
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly
