Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular events
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain student discipline and safety protocols
- Adhere to strict schedules and designated routes
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Complete incident reports and maintenance documentation
- Ensure compliance with Texas DMV and district regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class B CDL with Passenger (P) endorsement
- Satisfactory driving record and background check
- Ability to obtain School Bus (S) endorsement
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Child CPR/First Aid certification (training provided)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
