Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain daily vehicle logs
- Enforce bus safety protocols and student discipline policies
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and Arizona traffic laws
- Respond professionally to emergency situations
- Assist students with special mobility needs (training provided)
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with School Bus endorsement
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and climb bus stairs repeatedly
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Flexible schedule availability (early mornings, afternoons, field trips)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
