Responsibilities
- Operate a school bus safely and responsibly on established routes.
- Ensure the safety of students while loading, unloading, and during transit.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff regarding schedules and student behavior.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Passenger (P) endorsement.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT physical).
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or serious moving violations within the last 7 years).
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
