Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks (24-26ft) safely and efficiently for local/regional routes
- Manage pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize delivery schedules and routes
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Track expenses and maintain accurate mileage/expense records
- Communicate proactively with clients and logistics team
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck in good mechanical condition
- Basic understanding of DOT regulations and paperwork
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
