Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local freight delivery routes within Louisville metro
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reporting
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and GPS tracking compliance
- Coordinate with warehouse team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- Basic familiarity with Louisville road networks
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
