Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes throughout San Francisco
- Conduct daily pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Manage student behavior and maintain a safe environment
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic regulations
- Assist students with boarding/alighting and mobility needs
- Complete incident reports and maintenance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- School Bus Driver Certificate (TB clearance required)
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- Clean driving record (DMV printout required)
- Pass background check and physical examination
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with special needs
- Fluent in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
