Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles to deliver goods on schedule.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate diverse routes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs during loading/unloading.
