As a Dedicated OTR Driver, you will play a critical role in delivering our clients' shipments safely and on time. We operate a modern fleet and offer top-tier benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles over long distances (Over-The-Road) in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and electronic logs in accordance with Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on schedule, ensuring cargo integrity and handling customer service needs.
- Uphold a professional image while representing Apex Logistics on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
- Physical ability to load/unload cargo and handle basic vehicle maintenance checks.
