Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans on assigned delivery routes within the Seattle metro area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper securing and handling of freight.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients during stops.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately to the maintenance department.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A issued by the state of Washington.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging devices (ELD) and dispatch systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends.
